Welcome to Clark's Corgi Ranch!  We are located in Oxford, North Carolina, situated on 28 acres.

When we built our home ten years ago, my husband insisted on some of the dogs having their own kennel outside.  The only way I would agree to this was if the kennel was heated and air conditioned, and they had a large turnout area.  And so that was beginning of my 1st kennel.  Each of my corgis have house time, and, when I'm home, they have free reign in the yard; however, in spite of the fact that they have so much space to run and explore, they are so loyal that they never seem to leave my side.

We breed both Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis.  These breeds share many common traits, but they are different breeds and not related.  However, both are dwarf breeds in the herding class and both make wonderful family pets.

The Cardigan Corgi is typically a bit heavier than the Pembroke. The ears are larger and the feet more round and they have long tails.

Cardigans are availiable in these colors:

  • Tri-Colored with either brindle or tan points
  • Red
  • Brindle
  • Sable
  • Blue Merle

The Pembroke Corgi is a long, low dog with erect ears, a broad flat skull and fox-like head.

The tails are almost non-existent.

Pembrokes are available in these colors:

  • Tri-colored with either red heads or black heads
  • Red
  • Sable
